Helena Canhoto is an intimacy coordinator, actress, and filmmaker with a master’s degree in Theatre. She completed her intimacy coordination training at IDC (Intimacy Directors and Coordinators) in the U.S. and has since worked professionally in the field across both stage and screen.
Helena is the founder of Inty, the first Portuguese company dedicated exclusively to intimacy coordination, reflecting her commitment to safer, more ethical, and collaborative storytelling practices in film, television, and theatre.
With a substantial on-screen career, she has appeared in numerous films and TV series, earning three Best Actress awards for her performances. In theatre, Helena has written, directed, and performed in various productions.
Currently based between Portugal and Canada, she speaks four languages and is ready to help you create safer sets and elevate your intimate scenes into stronger, more authentic performances.
